Mount Dora Christian Academy is excited to welcome Coach Bobby Bowden to our campus! College football”s winningest coach, Bowden led the Florida State University Seminoles from 1976 to 2009. During the period from 1987 – 2000, Bowden coached FSU to 14 straight seasons with 10 or more victories, and his team had a final ranking of fourth or better in both major polls.

Coach Bowden is a committed Christian who credits his success in football to his faith. The event is held at the Mount Dora Community Center located at 520 N Baker Street, Mount Dora, Florida 32757. This event attracts many business leaders, as well as community members because 100% of the proceeds go directly back to the Eustis Band Program that provides music, equipment, and instruments for children in 6th thru 12th grade. This fundraiser is a great way to get close and personal with the current and future leaders of our community. Each year the Eustis Jazz Revue invites a renowned clinician to join the ensembles. The benefit of having a clinician is the time spent with each band, working directly with the students, and sharing the things that they have learned over their years of experience. Having this as part of the event helps the students with confidence and teaches them to work as a group and with new musicians. This year we are proud to have Bianca Jade. Bianca Jade is an award-winning singer-songwriter calling Miami home. She is a twenty-year-old education major at Miami Dade College. This Cuban and Jamaican descent began writing music at ten years old. She has already had some original songs recorded. Bianca Jade won the Sparkle Singing Challenge, which was a national singing competition sponsored by Myspace and TriStar Pictures for the new movie “Sparkle” featuring Jordin Sparks and Whitney Huston.
